Is it really worth it and what do you get?
Have you ever wondered whether FabFitFun is worth the cost? Never heard of it? Then keep reading…..
FabFitFun is not just another subscription box. But let’s be honest, subscription boxes are so fun. Who doesn’t love a surprise? It’s so exciting having something arrive at your home with an element of mystery.
To be honest, I’ve tried out more than a few and the thing that draws me in is that I always discover new items which become part of my life.
Just so you know, this is my honest review. I’ll answer how the subscription works, what kind of items you’ll receive and whether the expense is worth it.
What is FabFitFun? It is a subscription box delivered to your home and is full of beauty, fashion, home décor, kitchen, wellness and fitness goodies. These items are not tiny samples, but full-sized luxe/expensive products.
How much does it cost? You can choose two memberships: seasonal ($49.99) charged per box or annual ($179.99) charged annually. Both memberships receive four boxes per year and renew automatically.
The annual membership offers first dibs on customizing your box along with a little savings. FFF isn’t curated as personally as say Ipsy, but there is a profile survey where you can indicate items you’d prefer.
A few weeks before your box is shipped, you’ll receive an email allowing you to customize some items in your box. Select members receive more options for customization. They also offer flash sales several times a year which is a great way to stock up on heavily discounted items.
The box itself is a beautiful, multi-colored sturdy container. Your items are wrapped in tissue paper just like a birthday gift. Seriously, I get so excited I feel like a kid on Christmas morning. Many of the items are seasonal. Each box includes the FFF Magazine which has articles describing items in the box including the retail cost. So you’ll know exactly the worth of what you’ve received. Curious?
A few items from past boxes
- Rebecca Minkoff Marled Beanie & Arm Warmer Set – $70.00 I live in Austin, Texas, so not exactly something I would use, but it made a very nice gift.
- Ban.do Bluetooth Shower Speaker – $35 I love this little speaker and now my singing in the shower is much more fun.
- Paper Source 12 Month Rose Floral Planner – $27.95
- Drybar Prep Rally Prime & Prep Detangler – $23.00 My favorite items so far. I use this every time I wash my hair. I love both the scent and how it makes my ratty hair so much easier to brush. This lightweight detangler uses biotin, vitamins B and C, and sea berry oil to protect hair against heat and leaves hair soft and conditioned.
- Anthropologie Travel Yoga Mat – $50.00 Namaste while you vay-k! The ultra-thin, foldable mat is portable so you can flow wherever, whenever.
I just received my Summer 2020 box valued at $334.
Several of the items are seasonal and I can’t wait to try them out.
The Lyfestyle Co Beach Mist After Sun Spray – $42.00
TOMS Sydney Sunglasses -$58.00
Business and Pleasure Co.™ Cooler Bag – $59.00
Zoe Ayla® Ice Roller -$30.00
Yumi Kim Wireless Charging Pad- $35.00.
Makeup Drop Hybrid Makeup Applicator $20.00
Murad Essential-C® Cleanser – $40.00
Riddle™ Oil Original Roll On – $50.00
Are There Other Perks?
OMG, are there ever? I’m blown away by the FFF community. They expanded into style, food, fitness and so much more.
Personally, I’m most excited about FFF TV. As a select (annual subscriber) member you have access to videos on topics from workouts, cooking tutorials, meditation, lifestyle.
Other topics in the Lifestyle section include DIY, Mom Life, My Journey (the current topic is personal fertility journeys) and Love.
I can’t wait to watch some of the dating videos hosted by a panel of female match makers. A couple of the topics include, Dating After Divorce, First Date Tips and Communication in a Relationship.
Convinced yet? Check it out for yourself at FabFitFun.
Is FabFitFun worth it? A resounding yes!
I am a huge fan. I’ve discovered products that I never would have found had it not been for FFF. Some of the items aren’t exactly me or are items I already own, but the value make them fabulous gifts. Add in the FFF T.V. and I’m hooked! Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that they also offer a styling box. But that’s a review for another post.
Until then, keep smiling and if you sign up for FabFitFun, I’d love to know. Hop on over to my FB page and let me know what you think.
Xoxo,
Susanne
