Everything Shimmer, Sparkle and Shine

The holidays are here and everything looks so festive, fun and bright. Who doesn’t love shimmer, sparkle and shine? I’m normally a more muted, earth-tone kinda girl, but this year I’ve decided to celebrate by inviting a more fun, festive look into my holiday outfits.

By now, we’ve all grown beyond weary of being home and isolated, but that doesn’t mean you can’t host a virtual party or have a home date night with your boo.

I get that you may not want to invest a lot in something you may only wear once or twice a year, so I’ve provided three very budget conscious options from Walmart.

Yep, good old wally world. I visited my local super store and didn’t find any of these available, so online is the way to go.  Of course, at these prices, you could afford to buy one of each.

How about something in classic black?

While you are you wrapping up your online Christmas shopping, why not add something to the cart for a little Christmas cheer to yourself?

This length is perfect and I envision wearing it with something in red.  Throw on some low booties or a strappy heel and you’re sure to turn heads.

This high waist sparkle pencil sequin number comes in 21 color variations include some in ombre.

My personal favs are from Altar’d State…

A great top option for any of the skirts is this super soft Mackey mock turtle neck sweater. You can catch sales and I got this one during a buy one sweater, get one for free.

Altar’d State had several options for sparkle and shine.  The Marietta dress is super comfortable and the wrap front style is flattering to any figure.

I especially like the bell sleeves. I couldn’t resist, so this is a new additon to my holiday sparkle and shine wardrobe.

If you are more of a pants girl, I recommend the rose-gold Kelly sequin flare.

They have the feel of a lounge pant with the glamour for a night out or a holiday party.

I think both the dress and pants from Altar’d State look much better in reality than they do on the website, so below you can see how I styled them during my impromtu photo shoot. Notice I paired the white top above with the sequin pants and white booties.

If you would to incorporate some sparkle and shine into life, but these options are a bit much for your taste, consider adding some sparkle in your accessories; think shoes, purses, jewelry and even your nail polish.

Most importantly, let your inner beauty shine and have fun with fashion!
